Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
dear doctors and professors,

It is a special delight for me that the 1st International Hahnemann Congress with outstanding lecturers from all over the world will be held in Ettlingen.
Notably during the last years more and more people have begun to take an interest in the mild way of homeopathic healing. "Let likes cure likes” has been the principle of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, to whom we owe the foundation of homeopathy and to whom this congress pays tribute in bearing his name. Even if a number of people still continue to belittle homeopathy as a sort of placebo treatment, they are proven wrong by worldwide homeopathic practice and achievements. It is always gratifying to see citizens of Ettlingen, such as Dr. med. Carl Rudolf Klinkenberg and Claudia Klinkenberg, being committed to a cause which serves also the good of their home town. This conference will make known the name of our beautiful town in many countries. For
this, I whish to thank the IHC president Dr. Klinkenberg, in the name of the municipality of Ettlingen and its council. I wish every physician attending the conference and its workshop a pleasant and rewarding stay. Enjoy in a moment’s rest you might hopefully find the historical center of Ettlingen and its shopping opportunities, or take a break in one of our manifold cafes and inns.
